* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central and southwest Nebraska, including the following counties, in central Nebraska, Custer. In southwest Nebraska, Chase, Frontier, Hayes, Lincoln and Perkins.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT /6 PM MDT/ this evening through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms could produce heavy rainfall late this afternoon into the evening. A lull in precipitation is then likely from late this evening though the overnight hours. On Wednesday, as moisture arrives from the remnants of Hurricane Polo, additional heavy rainfall will be possible, especially mid-morning into Wednesday night across Hayes, Frontier, and the southern portions of Lincoln and Custer counties. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
