.Recent periods of heavy rainfall have led to minor to moderate flooding along the East Fork White River near Columbus and Seymour. Flooding will persist over the weekend into early next week.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.3 feet, On April 23, 2011 Historic Rok-Sey roller staking rink at Rockford was sandbagged. This historic structure was flooded by 2 feet of water in June 2008 when the river approached 21 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:45 AM EDT Friday was 16.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
