At 253 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms were gradually weakening across the warned area. Radar and surface weather observations indicate between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen, and additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mainly rural areas of North Central El Paso County, especially near and just east of Black Forest.
