...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST CA AND WESTERN NV...

* CHANGES...Reduced duration of Red Flag hours. Added overnight recoveries to the humidity section.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 270 Surprise Valley California, Fire Weather Zone 278 Eastern Lassen County, including the Biscar Fire, Fire Weather Zone 458 Northern Washoe County, including the Macy Fire.

* Winds...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Humidity...Afternoon minimums 6 to 10 percent Friday though Sunday. Overnight recoveries 25 to 45 percent each night through Monday morning.

* Duration...3 to 7 hours Friday and Saturday afternoon. 3 to 6 hours Sunday afternoon.

* Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first responders can contain them.
