At 446 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Whitaker, or 20 miles north of Cheyenne, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Cheyenne, Pine Bluffs, Burns, Albin, Egbert, Laramie County Fairgrounds at Archer, Hillsdale, Fox Farm-College, Cheyenne Regional Airport, Winchester Hills, South Greeley Highway, Ranchettes, Warren AFB, Frontier Park, Pine Bluffs Municipal Airport, Whitaker, North Cheyenne, South Cheyenne, Meriden Rest Area, and Gun Barrel.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 1 and 45. Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 353 and 402.
