* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central New Mexico, including the following area, West Central Plateau.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches per hour Saturday afternoon. This activity will move slowly westward with repeated rounds of heavy rainfall possible through Saturday evening.
