At 1047 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Maricopa, Estrella Sailport and Ak-Chin Village.

This includes the following highways... AZ Route 238 between mile markers 36 and 44. AZ Route 347 between mile markers 165 and 174.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Vekol Wash.
