Flood Warning

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Kansas, including the following county, Russell.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1121 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area with locally higher amounts possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Russell, Lucas, Gorham, Luray, Dorrance, Bunker Hill, Paradise, Waldo, Russell Airport, Wilson Lake and Wilson State Park.
