The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 525 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Claussville and Ancient Oaks.

This includes the following highways... Northeast Extension between mile markers 57 and 58. Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 45 and 54.
