Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.

.Major river flooding is expected. Heavy rainfall of three to well over eight inches that fell from Tuesday night through much of Wednesday will bring major flooding to some area waterways, including the White River in the Muncie and Anderson areas. Moderate river flooding is expected further downstream in the Noblesville area, and currently minor lowland flooding is forecast downstream of there.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River near Nora.

* WHEN...From late tonight to late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.3 feet, River Road just north of 86th Street near the Fashion Mall at the entrance to condominiums begins to flood. High water affects Ravenswood and River Edge Drive. Many basements in Ravenswood fill with one to two feet of water. Some basements fill with more than three feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 15.5 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
