Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky, including the following counties, Bath and Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 554 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mount Sterling, Owingsville, Jeffersonville, Howards Mill, Stepstone, Ewington, Flat Creek, Gatewoods Station, Coons Station, Upper Spencer, Lower Spencer, Stoops, Peeled Oak, Oggs Station, Kendall Springs, Walkers Crossing, Crooks, Judy, Preston and Hope.
