The National Weather Service in St Louis has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Iron County in southeastern Missouri... Northeastern Reynolds County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 612 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 6 and 11 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Viburnum, Annapolis, Glover, Oates, Bixby, Lesterville, Black, Hogan, Chloride and Sabula.

This includes the following State Parks... Johnsons Shut-Ins State Park and Taum Sauk Mountain State Park.
