At 1259 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Varnado to 7 miles south of Poplarville to 12 miles southwest of McHenry to near Saucier. Movement was south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Gulfport, Biloxi, Bogalusa, Poplarville, Saucier, Lyman, Mcneil, and Crossroads.
This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 9 and 42.
