* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central New Mexico, including the following county, Otero.
* WHEN...Until 415 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 107 PM MDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Mescalero, Bent, Apache Summit, Mud Canyon, South Tularosa Canyon, Eight Canyon, Portions of US Highway 70 between Apache Summit and the Otero-Lincoln County Line, Soldier Canyon, Carrizo, Firman Lake and Horse Spring. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
