* Special Marine Warning for... Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM... Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1230 PM CDT.

* At 1105 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 23 nm south of Gulf Shores Beach, moving west at 5 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small hail.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
