Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 648 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Sherman Park to Walcott to Illinois City, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

These severe storms will be near... Davenport, Eldridge, Blue Grass, Buffalo, Andalusia, Donahue, Edgington, Maysville, West Lake Park, and Buffalo Shores around 655 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include Long Grove, Taylor Ridge and Davenport Municipal Airport.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 274 and 294. Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 10.
