Flood Warning

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, Floyd and Knott.

* WHEN...Until 330 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1235 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in Mousie, Soft Shell, Wayland, and Garret. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Estill, Wayland, Bolyn, Yellow Mountain, Soft Shell, Handshoe, Mousie, Vest, Larkslane, Elmrock, Betty, Porter Junction, Garret, Glo, Raven, Demo, Buck and Minnie.
