* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 PM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds ramped up Wednesday into Thursday, will remain strong through Friday, then gradually weaken Friday night into Saturday. Winds will peak Thursday and Friday, with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph expected.
