Flash Flood Warning

At 437 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area have shifted east of the area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of backcountry roads, normally dry washes, slot canyons, creeks and streams.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... the following slot canyons along Hole In The Rock Road: Phipps Wash, Bighorn Canyon, Zebra, Tunnel, Harris Wash, and Red Breaks.
