* WHERE...Iowa River at Marengo.
* WHEN...Until Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects agricultural land along the river. Water is several feet deep in places.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.9 feet early Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
