Flash Flood Warning

At 456 PM CDT, the public reported flash flooding. Several roads are flooded in the Lone Oak area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Paducah, La Center, Wickliffe, Lone Oak, Reidland, Barlow, Barkley Regional Airport, Lovelaceville, West Paducah, Kevil and Blandville.
