...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois...
Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Low-lying wetlands and agricultural land is inundated near the river. At 8.0 feet, Agricultural and park land is inundated near the river. Residential property is threatened near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 6.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning and continue rising to a crest of 7.4 feet Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
