Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 524 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Frostburg to near Bel Air to near Keyser to 6 miles south of Piedmont, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include... Cumberland, Frostburg, Keyser, Westernport, Bel Air, La Vale, Fort Ashby, Lonaconing, Piedmont, Elk Garden, Kitzmiller, Ridgeley, Cresaptown, Potomac Park, Wiley Ford, Eckhart Mines, Rawlings, Barton, Midland, and Midlothian.
