Much of the watch area has seen 2 to upwards of 7 inches of rain over the last 24 hours. As this water continues to route through the system, additional rises on rivers and flooding of roadways, parks, and low elevation areas is likely over the next 6 to 12 hours. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches if possible through this evening.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Iowa, including the following counties, Clayton and Fayette and southwest Wisconsin, including the following counties, Crawford, Grant and Richland.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
