Flash Flood Warning

At 710 AM CDT, Heavy rainfall is departing the area. Additional rainfall of 3 to 5 inches fell overnight bringing two day totals up to 10 to 12 inches. Significant flooding is occurring in Owensboro and surrounding areas. High water will persist and may worsen over the next few hours.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
