.Copious rainfall over the past two days along with yet another round of storms coming today is bringing significant flooding to central Indiana. This includes tributaries into the main stem rivers, including Flatrock River, Wildcat Creek, Mississinewa River, Big Blue River, Fall Creek, and Driftwood River.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wildcat Creek near Jerome.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Extensive flooding of Wildcat Creek in Jerome area. CR 1050 E just south of Jerome begins to flood. Extensive flooding of canoe launch site and park near SR 213.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:15 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:15 PM EDT Thursday was 13.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue rising and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
