* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The island of Molokai in Maui County...
* WHEN...Until 630 AM HST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 448 AM HST, Doppler radar shows a large convective band producing heavy rain across the island of Molokai this morning. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... the entire island of Molokai.
Instructions
Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.
A Flood Watch is also in effect for Maui County through tonight.
