* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southern Connecticut, including the following county, New Haven.
* WHEN...Until 915 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 602 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some locations in the advisory area have received up to an inch of rainfall. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... New Haven, Waterbury, Meriden, Milford, Middletown, Wallingford, Naugatuck, Southbury, Wolcott, Hamden, Stratford, Cheshire, North Haven, Seymour, North Branford, Orange, Prospect, Woodbridge, Middlebury and Beacon Falls. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
