* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northwestern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...
* WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 903 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Owl Creek, Robinson Creek, Little Simpson Creek, Little Crow Creek, Geary Creek, Lone Tree Creek, North Fork Geary Creek, Wildhorse Creek, Spring Creek, West Fork Willow Creek, Little Owl Creek, Coal Creek, Simpson Creek and Willow Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rockport.
