At 1240 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 13 miles west of Asheboro to 8 miles southeast of Albemarle to near Midland. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Rockingham, Wadesboro, Troy, Badin Lake, Pinehurst, Biscoe, Ansonville, Hoffman, Seagrove, and Polkton.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 68.
