At 339 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles southeast of Etowah, or 15 miles north of Ducktown, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Ducktown, William L. Davenport Refuge, Coker Creek, Violet, Turtletown, Hiawasse Dam, and Unaka.
