At 738 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Purdy to near Radium to 9 miles southeast of Boydton. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and frequent lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.
