At 1047 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 20 nm east of Algoma to 22 nm west of Big Sable Point Light, moving southeast at 35 knots.
