At 1158 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Forks, Emmaus, Northampton, Quakertown, Wilson, Hellertown, Nazareth, Wind Gap and Bath.
This includes the following highways... Northeast Extension between mile markers 39 and 60. Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 54 and 76.
