The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Daviess County in southwestern Indiana... Northeastern Knox County in southwestern Indiana... Northern Martin County in southwestern Indiana...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 821 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 2.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Vincennes, Washington, Bicknell, Loogootee, Odon, Elnora, Wheatland, Bruceville, Plainville, Sandborn, Montgomery, Edwardsport, Crane, Cannelburg, West Boggs Lake, Burns City and Indian Springs.
