At 204 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Franktown to 9 miles south of Matheson, or extending from 26 miles southeast of Denver to 20 miles southwest of Limon, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Elizabeth, Kiowa, Simla, Matheson, Ponderosa Park, Franktown, The Pinery, Fondis and Castlewood Canyon.
