The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern McLean County in central Illinois...
* Until 130 PM CDT.
* At 838 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Law enforcement and broadcast media continue to relay reports of substantial flash flooding, with several road closures and stalled vehicles. Of particular concern, significant swelling of the Little Kickapoo Creek south of Bloomington toward Heyworth has flooded well outside its banks. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
