Special Weather Statement

At 601 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of New Castle to 14 miles northeast of Shelbyville to 7 miles west of Frankfort. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Frankfort, Lawrenceburg, Versailles, Midway, Pleasureville, Stamping Ground, Gratz, Slickway, Farmdale, and Harvieland.
