* WHAT...High wave action, strong currents, and dangerous swimming conditions expected. Piers will be heavily swamped by waves. Waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet this evening, and to 1 to 2 feet overnight.

* WHERE...Northern Berrien and Southern Berrien counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers.
