* WHERE...Thorn Creek from Near Glenwood downstream to confluence with Little Calumet River, including the Thornton gauge.

* WHEN...From this evening to early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Water begins to be diverted through Thorn Creek Diversion Tunnel. At 11.0 feet, 187th Street threatened in Glenwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.7 feet and rising rapidly. - Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 10.5 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
