* WHERE...Tchefuncte River above U.S. Highway 190 Near Covington.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, The entrance road to Camp Tchefuncte will flood. The campgrounds will be inaccessible by auto and evacuation of the campground area is advised. Homes between Tantella Ranch Road and the river as well as homes on Trinchard Road and Louisiana Highway 1077 will be threatened.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 24.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Forecast...The river has crested and is falling. It is expected to fall below flood stage late Sunday evening and continue falling. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.8 feet on 06/08/2001. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
