At 1220 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles south of Brewster to 6 miles northwest of Oakley to 5 miles northwest of Grainfield, moving south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near... Oakley, Grainfield, Grinnell, and Monument around 1225 AM CDT. Winona around 1240 AM CDT. Gove around 1250 AM CDT. Russell Springs around 105 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Angelus, Mingo, Halford, and Seguin.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 36 and 95.
