At 246 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms near Sylvan Shores, or 5 miles northeast of Lake Placid, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, Lake Istokpoga, Sylvan Shores, Sebring Regional Airport, Lorida, Lake Josephine, Placid Lakes, Archbold, Cornwell, Avon Park Air Force Range, Sebring Shores and Brighton.
