Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Mescal Canyon Arroyo in Sierra County, New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 600 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Slow moving thunderstorms have produced heavy rainfall over Mescal Canyon, south of Truth or Consequences. This will result in flooding at the low water crossing on Turtleback Avenue.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 308 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. - Minor flooding is also possible from smaller side arroyos further south and west along Turtleback Avenue. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
