* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Canadian River at Amarillo 19N.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Portions of Rosita Creek Flats Recreational Area floods. Primitive campers and recreational vehicles are in imminent danger. Dirt roads that lead to highway 287 from Rosita Creek Flats are impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:30 AM CDT Wednesday was 8.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 10.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall tomorrow morning. It will rise to 8.4 feet early Friday morning.
