* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Central Adams County in northeastern Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 730 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 432 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Wolf Creek, Antelope Creek, Comanche Creek, Lost Creek, Sand Creek, West Sand Creek, Kiowa Creek and Mule Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Central Adams County.
