At 507 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles north of Oliver Springs to near Wartburg to 11 miles northeast of Fairfield Glade. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Wartburg, Oliver Springs, Rocky Top, Oakdale, Coalfield, Rosedale, Frozen Head State Park, and Petros.
