Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Agricultural and park land is inundated near the river. Residential property is threatened near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The river continues a gradual fall. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage on Thursday. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
