At 1121 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Reports of flood have been received from Tyler and Hardin Counties. Between 5 and 20 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lumberton, Silsbee, Woodville, Kountze, Sour Lake, Colmesneil, Chester, Wildwood, Warren, Fred, Thicket, Saratoga, Town Bluff, Village Mills, Honey Island, Caney Head, Spurger, Votaw and Batson.
Rainfall has generally tapered off to a much lighter rainfall than earlier this morning. However numerous roads remain flooded and closed across the warned area as water continues to drain.
