* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Central Botetourt County in west central Virginia... West Central Rockbridge County in west central Virginia...
* WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1106 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Blue Suck Branch, Allen Creek, Buffalo Creek, Catawba Creek, Back Creek, Beckner Branch and Broad Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
